Condo Buildings in Evanston with Pools

May 6, 2022

Chicagoland is not known for its “pool” weather. But you can swim all-yearlong in Evanston because – in addition to our many fitness centers with pools and, of course, our lake front with its beautiful beaches – there are quite a few condominium buildings with pools in them. Here is a list of them:

  • 800 Elgin: Located at the north end of downtown, the pool and hot tub are on the first floor off the lobby, right next to the party room.
  • 1640 Maple: At the corner of Church and Maple. The pool is located on the 5th floor, along with the fitness and party rooms.
  • 1720 Maple: Easily recognized because of the orange balconies, this building is between Church and Clark. The pool, jacuzzi, fitness room, and sundeck are on the 4th floor.
  • 1570 Elmwood: This 2007 condo building has a 4th floor pool, hot tub, exercise room, sundeck, and party room. On Elmwood between Davis and Grove.
  • 1580 Sherman: Tucked away off Chicago Ave, just south of Davis, you’ll feel worlds away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Evanston when taking a stroll through its landscaped entry corridor. The pool and hot tub are located to the right as you enter the building.
  • North Pointe: This complex consists of two condo buildings and 2- and 3-bedroom townhomes and is located at Gross Pointe and Harrison, just west of Crawford. The indoor pool is located at ground level, accessed through its underground garage.
  • 2009 Harrison: A small boutique elevator building just south of Central Street and just west of Green Bay. The pool is on the ground floor.
  • Chicago Avenue Place: In the heart of the Dempster Street/Chicago Ave. shopping district, this four-building complex features a pool, fitness room, hot tub, and sun deck on the top floor of the 1224 Chicago building.
  • Drake Manor: Just north of Golf Road at 9201/9221 Drake, this complex has a popular, sunny, outdoor pool.
  • 720 Oakton: The building is east of Ridge, west of Chicago Ave. It has private outdoor pool and lovely sundeck patio.

If you are a swimmer who enjoys condo living, nothing could be more convenient than having the restorative powers of a pool just steps away from your front door.  Contact me and my team if you want us to keep an eye open for availability in any of the condos.
